Exam 3 will focus on combining newer ML with our other materials.

It will be 75% paper and conceptual questions and 25% a take-home coding exercise. To prepare:

• Be able to read code and explain what it does. Explain what a block of code does, and what it is missing or doing wrong.
• Interpret the output of code, including error messages.
• Discuss or critique an overall analysis strategy or approach. Given a problem, explain how to use different techniques together.

The test will include elements from OLS regression and/or decision trees. Be sure to refresh your memory on the various measurements of model performance, including R-squared, MSE, MAE, and confusion matrices.
